Donna Stallings, also known as "The Grant Whisperer," has over 20 years of experience in the Housing Industry. She has held various positions, from Housing Counselor to Grants Management Director, and she’s a HUD-Certified Housing Counselor with deep knowledge of HUD guidelines and compliance requirements.
I was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, but left there in 1980 to attend college at Virginia Commonwealth University. After graduating in 1984, I decided to make Richmond my home. I started my career in the Insurance Industry, but after 15 years of working in various lines of Insurance, I left Corporate America to work in the Nonprofit Industry. I worked for five different nonprofits over the course of 20+ years ranging from Homeless Services Case Management to Homeownership Program Management.
